We took a day trip to Tampere last week. Honesty didn't think I'd be so impressed by that city, I'm always repeating how I'd never live anywhere else in Finland but Helsinki, but I gotta say I was really blown away by the architecture and the prettiness of the nature and my goodness the lake. And of course the amazing weather didn't hurt, actually didn't wear that jacket again before the sun went down.

Yesterday I tried to give spring a little boost and I ventured outside wearing shorts and a denim jacket. This is huge since I've been living in my winter coat from Zara all year. I didn't even freeze even though spring so far has looked like winter and felt like fall. There may be hope yet.

Sara here, another blog was in order as Champagne & Cedar Wood just doesn't feel as much like me as it used to, I will still be posting some more C&CW like things there so don't stop coming over.

This blog is supposed to be more "me" and we're off to a good start since even the name of it is wonderfully narcissistically (sarcasm alert) named after me.
